Are we witnessing the death of journalism as we have known it? Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

The distinction between journalists who blog and the general public who blog is that some trained, qualified journalists and/or writers have discovered their freedom while many untrained, uneducated “citizen journalists” are not blogging, they are babbling.
